I am not sure how well this works for all of the things it says it does, but I can say that when I have a zit, zapping it with this thing seems to calm it down and speed up the healing. I use the spot wand on a medium setting and hold for about 30 seconds, and it really seems to calm down the inflamed ones. I forget where I learned this, and I am not a dermatologist or aesthetician, so please don't take this as advice. This is just what works for me.
